Dr. Friedman offers years of experience in Brit Milah, but also brings his expert medical training in the precise, minute work of oral surgery, which he has performed in his own private practice since 1991.

Rabbi Dr. Jerald S. Friedman

Jerald S. Friedman. D.D.S., received his dental degree from Columbia University School of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Dental Residency at Beth Israel Hospital and his Oral Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York City.

Dr. Friedman participates in surgical missions to Third World countries, and is also an active member of his community of Teaneck, New Jersey, located in Bergen County, where he lives with his wife and their six children.

Dr. Friedman received his Rabbinical Degree from Yeshiva Pirchei Shoshanim in Israel and trained in Jewish ritual circumcision, also known as Brit Milah or Bris, in both Jerusalem and London. There he learned the most up to date techniques which help lessen postoperative bleeding and healing time. Since that time he has had the honor to serve families in Bergen County and throughout Northern New Jersey, New York, and the Tri-State area.

Performing Brit Milah is the perfect melding of Rabbi Dr. Friedman's spiritual interests and surgical pursuits in a way that enable him to serve both G-d and his community.
